RNC is over

Finally it's over. We had done such a good job of setting up the network, that there were no problems. The guys had some issues when the RNC reconfigured the stage for the President.

Was impressed with Governor Arnold's speech. It sounded so much like him, that's it is hard to believe that he may have had speech writers. He must have studied Reagan a lot. Vice President Cheney's speech was not as great, but it was fine, but not awe-inspiring. Figured out that the vocal protestors are really trying to intimidate who they are directing their anger toward.

The next day Senator Zell Miller gave his speech, It was so powerful I wanted to enlist in his Army. He was passonate. Noticed that when some people see some one deliever a heated and powerful speech they disagree with they write him off as crazy, but when it's someone they like it's called passonate and inspiring. Interesting that you don't read or hear of any comments in the media about the Senator's comment about how honorable Wendell Willkie was toward running aganist FDR in 1940. I must study this statesman, Wendall Willkie, and learn his history.

Visited the History of Natural History musuem and it was great. You can't visit it in only a few hours, it's an all day visit. Worth taking kids for educational purposes. Visited the New York Public Library and it's awesome too. I must admit most of the musuems I visited, and Central Park too, were very rewarding and worth a second visit if I can ever come back.

I was prepared to say New York City would be great if it weren't for the people, but for the most part the people were nice and polite. The traffic is tough, but not terrible. I think the push for the football stadium could only help the Manhattan economy, but traffic would be even tougher during event's like football games.
